- PROUDLY SERVING JACKSON, WYOMING
Real internet. Real people. Real simple.
Jackson's most trusted ISP with more 5-star reviews than anyone else on the SilverLight network
What Is the SilverLight Fiber Network?
Jackson is getting the internet a world-class town deserves. And for the first time, you have a real choice in who delivers it.
For years, most Jackson residents had one realistic option for home internet: whichever cable provider happened to serve their neighborhood. Limited bandwidth, steep costs, and zero competition. That era is ending.
Silver Star Communications is building the SilverLight Fiber Network across the Town of Jackson. It’s the first privately funded, open-access fiber network of its kind in the country. Silver Star is a Wyoming company with roots going back over 70 years. They’re the same team that installed the first 10-gigabit fiber connection in the country at Jackson Hole Airport.
Open-access means multiple internet providers compete to serve you over the same fiber. No single company controls your connection. You pick the ISP that earns your business, and you can switch anytime without new construction or equipment changes.
Intellipop is one of four providers on the SilverLight network. We handle your service, your support, and your bill. When you call us, you talk to a real person. Available by phone or text 24/7.

SilverLight Fiber Coverage in Jackson
Silver Star is actively building the SilverLight network across the Town of Jackson. Construction began in Cottonwood Park, with Melody Ranch and Rafter J in progress and expansion continuing into town proper. The goal is to reach every home in Jackson.
If you work remotely from the valley, run a short-term rental, or just want internet that holds up during peak tourist season, symmetrical fiber is the answer. Your upload matches your download, and your speeds stay consistent regardless of what the rest of the neighborhood is doing.
If your area isn’t connected yet, go ahead and sign up. We’ll confirm your address and as construction reaches new neighborhoods, signed-up addresses get priority.

How to Choose Your SilverLight ISP
The SilverLight Network is open-access - multiple providers compete to offer fiber internet in Jackson over the same city-owned infrastructure. When comparing your options, here's what actually matters.
Look for hundreds of verified reviews, not dozens. A 4.9-star average across 1,250+ Google reviews signals consistent, repeatable service - not a lucky streak.
When comparing providers on SilverLight, ask for the total monthly cost before you sign up, not just the advertised rate. Some ISPs show a lower headline price and add the network fee on top. Intellipop’s price includes everything.
Who answers when you call at 10pm on a Tuesday? Wyoming-based, 24/7 support means a real person who knows your network - not a national call center reading from a script.
Month-to-month pricing keeps your provider accountable. If service slips, you leave. That incentive structure works entirely in your favor.
On fiber, upload should match download. If you work from home, video call, or back up to the cloud, 1 Gbps upload matters just as much as 1 Gbps download.
How long has the provider been operating on this specific network? Familiarity with SilverLight infrastructure and Strata Networks' systems matters most when something needs fixing fast.
Intellipop has served SilverLight customers since the network launched. With 1,250+ Google reviews averaging 4.9 stars, all-in transparent pricing, no contracts, and 24/7 Wyoming-based support - we've built our reputation one Jackson household at a time.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the SilverLight Network available at my address?+
The network is built and owned by Jackson City with citywide coverage. If you live in Jackson, you are very likely connected. Sign up and we will confirm your address during checkout.
What speeds does Intellipop offer on the SilverLight Network?+
We offer 250 Mbps, 1 Gbps, and 2 Gbps symmetrical plans - meaning equal upload and download speeds. We also offer a 10 Gbps plan for power users who need it. Ask about it during signup.
Are there any extra fees beyond the monthly price?+
No. The SilverLight Network infrastructure costs are built into your ISP rate. Unlike some fiber networks, there is no separate city infrastructure fee. The price you see is the price you pay.
Is the first month really free?+
Yes. Your first month of service is on us. No promo codes, no catch, no fine print.
Are there contracts or cancellation fees?+
No contracts and no cancellation fees, ever.
How does installation work?+
Installation happens in two phases. First, Jackson City's network operator (Strata Networks) runs fiber from the street to the outside wall of your home - you do not need to be home for this. Second, Intellipop schedules your inside installation, where we place the ONT (fiber modem) inside your home. If the distance from the exterior connection point to your modem location is 45 feet or less, the inside install is completely free. If you need a longer run - up to 150 feet - there is a flat $200 fee for that advanced installation. Either way, we handle all the coordination.
Who do I contact if my internet goes down?+
Intellipop, 24/7, at 801-851-1770. We resolve the vast majority of issues directly. If something is outside our control on the network infrastructure side, we will contact Jackson City and Strata on your behalf so you never have to play phone tag.
Does Intellipop serve businesses in Jackson?+
Does the SilverLight Network cover Traverse Mountain?+
No. Traverse Mountain is outside Jackson City limits and is not part of the SilverLight Network. If you live in the Traverse Mountain area, contact us and we will add you to the interest list for future coverage options.
Is Google Fiber available in Jackson, Wyoming?+
No. Google Fiber does not serve Jackson. Jackson has its own city-owned fiber network called SilverLight, built and maintained by the city and operated by Strata Networks. It already runs to most homes in the city. Intellipop connects you to that infrastructure directly. If you have been searching for Google Fiber in Jackson or looking for the best internet in Jackson, Wyoming, SilverLight is the answer, and Intellipop is its most reviewed provider.
